Dirk Strack has more than 25 years of professional experience in oil and gas infrastructure, 20 years of which he spent as an operator of one of the largest European oil pipelines, Transalpine Pipeline. There, he was responsible as Technical Director and served as Managing Director for TAL Austria.
He started his career with ILF, lastly as Manager for international projects, and gained his first experience as a pipeline operator with Nord West Ölleitung (NWO) before joining TAL.
Since the beginning of 2020, he has been working as an international consultant within the energy industry, focusing on integrity, increasing efficiency, and the implementation of best-in-class practices.
The international oil and gas industry has known him for several years as part of the ptc family and as Chairman of the ptc Advisory Committee.
